Because clear aligners are removable, many patients appreciate being able to eat, brush, floss, work, attend school, and participate in everyday activities with fewer changes to their routine. During your consultation, we will evaluate your teeth and bite, review your goals, and determine whether clear aligners are an appropriate option for you.

Clear aligners can be an appealing option for patients who want to improve their smile without the appearance of traditional braces. The trays are designed to fit closely over your teeth and gradually guide them into new positions.

At our office, we use digital impressions and a CBCT scanner to evaluate tooth position and surrounding structures and to help plan treatment. These tools allow us to create a detailed view of your smile and discuss possible changes before treatment begins.

We also offer both SureSmile and Clarity aligner systems. We will explain your options and recommend a treatment approach based on your individual needs.

We provide clear aligner treatment using SureSmile and Clarity.

SureSmile uses digital treatment planning to map out gradual tooth movement. Clarity also uses a series of clear trays designed to move teeth over time. During your consultation, we can review your digital scans and treatment simulation to help you better understand the proposed plan.

Depending on your case, treatment may include small tooth-colored attachments or minor reshaping between certain teeth to help create space or guide movement. If these steps are recommended, we will explain what they involve and why they may help.

Clear aligners may be appropriate for patients with concerns such as crowded teeth, gaps, or certain alignment and bite issues. However, not every orthodontic concern can be treated predictably with aligners alone.

The best way to determine whether you are a candidate is through a dental examination and digital evaluation. We will assess your teeth, bite, and treatment goals before recommending an approach.

For more complex cases, additional treatment may be needed, or a referral may be recommended. Our goal is to choose an option that supports both your smile and your long-term oral health.

Each aligner is designed to move your teeth gradually. Following your prescribed wear schedule is important because consistent wear helps treatment progress as planned.

If your treatment needs to be adjusted, the digital information collected during planning can help us update the next steps.

Clear aligners are removable, which can make eating and oral hygiene easier than with fixed braces. You remove the trays when eating and when brushing and flossing, then place them back in according to your prescribed wear schedule.

When your aligners are out, keep them in a protective, ventilated case.

Many patients also appreciate that clear aligners are less noticeable during work, school, social events, sports, meetings, and photos. If you play sports, use a mouthguard, or play a wind instrument, let us know so we can discuss how to manage those activities during treatment.
